MS FLight Training

MS Flight Training LLC provides personalized flight instruction in the Des Moines area and throughout central Iowa. Led by Mitchel Sellers, a Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) and Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilot (CSIP), the business offers practical training tailored to each pilot’s experience, goals, and aircraft. Mitchel has more than 1,200 flight hours across aircraft including Cirrus SR-20 and SR-22 models, Mooney, Piper, and Cessna aircraft, and experience with avionics ranging from traditional instruments to Garmin G1000 NXi systems.

Training options include Private Pilot, Instrument, and Commercial certificates, as well as CFI/CFII instruction, instrument proficiency checks, IFR refresher training, biennial flight reviews, and complex or high-performance aircraft endorsements. Lessons emphasize real-world scenarios, confidence, and meeting federal requirements—not simply passing a test. Instruction takes place in students’ aircraft or eligible rental aircraft, including options through the Des Moines Flying Club and Exec1 Aviation in Ankeny. MS Flight Training serves aspiring and experienced pilots across central Iowa and welcomes inquiries about getting started or refreshing flight skills.
