MS Hospitals Accountability & Transparency is a public information website produced through a partnership between the Mississippi Hospital Association and the Mississippi Association of Supervisors. Created to support public access to information about Mississippi’s public hospitals, the site reflects Senate Bill 2407, passed during the 2015 legislative session and signed by Governor Bryant. The law amended Mississippi’s open meetings requirements to cover public hospitals, requiring them, beginning January 1, 2016, to open board meetings and make certain records available to the public.
