MSLC

Marseille Sports Loisirs Culture (MSLC) is a French nonprofit association offering a varied programme of sports and cultural activities in Marseille. Founded under France’s 1901 association law, it is approved by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Its community-led sections welcome members to learn new skills, stay active and take part in shared outings.

The swimming section has operated at Bonneveine swimming pool since 1975 and teaches children aged six and older in groups suited to different ability levels. The windsurfing section, based at the Pointe-Rouge light-sailing area since 1986, offers activities for adults. The walking section has organised hikes for people of different ages and abilities since 1969, following a programme of outings.

MSLC’s scuba-diving section is affiliated with the French Federation of Underwater Sports and provides training for federal certification from levels 1 to 3. The association also supports diving outings, equipment and facilities, and underwater photography and video activities.
