Monterey-Salinas Transit

Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) is a public transportation organization focused on connecting communities, creating opportunity, and supporting a more sustainable future. It provides bus routes and passenger information through tools such as a trip planner, real-time bus arrival updates, route lists, system maps, and schedules. Riders can find guidance on how to use the service, make connections, and pay fares, including options to purchase passes and use contactless Tap 2 Ride payment.

MST also offers mobility services for people with different travel needs. These include ADA paratransit through RIDES, travel training, taxi vouchers, senior shuttles, MST Navigators, special medical trips, and veterans’ resources. The organization provides a vanpool program in partnership with Enterprise and shares information about service alerts, events, and holiday schedules.

Beyond daily transit, MST engages in community planning and outreach, publishes service and financial information, and provides opportunities for public participation through board meetings and advisory committees. Its website also offers customer service contacts, lost-and-found assistance, and free language support.
