Movimiento Scout del Uruguay is the official website of the largest voluntary movement in Uruguay, recognized by the World Scout Organization. With over 100 years of presence in the country, they are a vibrant and dynamic non-formal education movement that brings together more than 3,000 young people, children, and adult volunteers nationwide. Their mission is to transform themselves and society through educational action.

The movement follows its own method, the Scout Method, which fosters personal growth, teamwork, and the acquisition of key values through adventurous activities. The movement offers different units for different age groups. The Lobatos Unit (approximately 8 to 11 years old) experiences adventures inspired by The Jungle Book and learns important group values through play.

The Scouts Unit (approximately 11 to 14 years old) gradually takes on more responsibilities and shares adventures in smaller teams. The Pioneros Unit (approximately 14 to 17 years old) emphasizes community service as an essential part of their lives. The Rovers Unit (approximately 17 to 20 years old) fully embraces service and plans their life projects together with their peers.

Additionally, the movement relies on dedicated Educators (volunteer leaders over 18 years old) who deliver the educational program for each unit.
