MTBcross

MTBCROSS is a mountain-bike racing event held at Stříbrné Jezero in Opava, Czech Republic. It brings a cyclocross-inspired format to off-road cycling, with purpose-built courses featuring obstacles and an energetic challenge for riders of different ages and abilities. The event is designed to welcome families and the wider public, including children from the age of two, who can take part on balance bikes.

MTBCROSS runs separate race days for schools and public entrants. The school event is intended for kindergartens and primary schools, while the public race is open to a broad range of participants. Results are measured using chip timing, and the event publishes practical information such as registration details, race regulations, results, photographs, contact information, and course maps.

From autumn 2026, MTBCROSS is listed among the official races of the Czech Cycling Federation. The programme also includes on-site registration when available, although the number of open starting places may be limited. Overall, MTBCROSS offers a local, family-friendly way to experience obstacle-course mountain-bike racing in Opava.
