About Mission to the World
Mission to the World is the missions-focused arm of the Presbyterian Church in America. Our core values include upholding the Church, spreading the gospel of grace, and embracing Reformed and covenantal theology. We believe in exhibiting God’s love through acts of mercy and justice.
With a history spanning 50 years, we are dedicated to preparing and serving missionaries around the globe. Currently, we have 570 long-term missionaries and 1,167 short-term missionaries in 100 countries. Our mission is to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to follow Jesus.
We work alongside our national partners, contributing to the establishment, growth, and maturity of the local church. Our ministries range from church planting and teaching to medical clinics, sports evangelism, and art and music outreach. We place a strong emphasis on the diversity of our missionaries to better reflect the image of God and build more effective ministry.
