Muddy Creek is a family-owned Kansas hunting business founded by Andy and Katie Petesch in 2000. What began as a hobby raising quail, pheasants, and chukars grew into a destination for guided hunts, preserve shooting, and outdoor stays. The business offers more than 1,500 acres of controlled shooting areas for upland bird hunting and over 5,000 acres of free-range property for Kansas whitetail hunts.

Its offerings include trophy whitetail and elk hunts, spring turkey hunts, European-style bird shoots, and pheasant, quail, and chukar hunts. Guests can hunt with their own dogs or arrange for guides and dogs, and professional guides support hunting groups of different sizes. The remodeled lodge provides overnight accommodation and shared amenities, including a kitchen, bar, satellite television, and community room.

Muddy Creek emphasizes personal service, meals, and a welcoming experience for hunters, whether they are visiting with friends, family, or corporate groups. The business operates seasonally from September through April, with hunts scheduled by arrangement
