Muehlenhoefe

Mühlenhöfe is a horse pension and riding education centre in Porta Westfalica, Germany, focused on thoughtful care and calm, horse-centred training. With more than a century of agricultural history, the farm has been guided by Stefanie Meier since 2019 as it develops into a modern, horse-friendly facility. Its approach prioritises trust, clear communication and learning at each horse’s pace, without pressure.

The pension offers year-round group living in separate herds for mares and geldings, spacious partly surfaced paddocks, and extensive turnout. In winter, horses can be accommodated in paddock boxes or individual boxes with windows, alongside daily group time outdoors. Facilities include a lit all-weather riding arena and a natural-surface round pen.

Mühlenhöfe also provides riding lessons, individual training and schooling, groundwork and classical in-hand work, with an emphasis on the old Californian riding style and classical riding traditions. Bosal advice and training support are available for both horses and their owners.
