Muggenesia

Karnevalsgesellschaft Muggenesia Nürnberg e. V. is a carnival society based in Muggenhof, Nuremberg, celebrating fränkisch Fasching traditions since 1955. The club brings people together through a shared love of carnival, music, dance, humor, and community, while helping preserve local customs across generations.

Each year, Muggenesia organizes events during the carnival season, including traditional festive sessions and colorful parades. Its programs offer opportunities to experience Nuremberg carnival through stage performances, lively music, dancing, and entertainment. The society also runs dance groups where children and young people can take part in carnival performances and develop their abilities in a supportive setting. Activities emphasize enjoyment, discipline, and teamwork, while encouraging young talent.

Muggenesia is sustained by members who contribute on stage, in its dance groups, and behind the scenes to create the annual program. More than an event organizer, the society describes itself as a close-knit community built on commitment, creativity, and shared celebration.
