Muiríosa Foundation is an Irish provider of support services for Autistic individuals and people with intellectual disabilities. Based in Tullamore, County Offaly, the organisation works across eight counties: Laois, Offaly, Westmeath, Meath, Longford, Kildare, Tipperary and Kilkenny. Its team of more than 1,500 professionals delivers person-centred support, with services organised into three regions to respond to individuals’ needs.
The foundation’s aim is to help people live self-directed, connected and fulfilling lives, with meaningful, independent and inclusive lifestyles. Its services include residential and day supports, respite, preschool provision, home sharing, social work and clinical services. It also offers learning and development, and provides information for people seeking support, families, volunteers and prospective staff.
The Muiríosa Foundation works with the Health Service Executive, its principal funder, under an annual service-level agreement. It is a registered Irish charity and a company limited by guarantee, and shares information about its governance, policies, publications, recruitment opportunities and community news through its website
