Multiplay is a multiplayer game server hosting and orchestration platform operated independently by Rocket Science Group, whose team includes members of the original Multiplay crew. With more than 20 years of experience supporting live games, the company works with developers from early planning through launch and ongoing operations.

Its platform combines bare-metal and cloud infrastructure through a hybrid architecture and a single API. Automatic scaling places sessions on suitable capacity, using bare metal for steady demand and cloud resources for bursts. Multiplay offers global hosting across more than 30 locations, along with SDK, CLI and allocation API integration for Unity, Unreal Engine and custom-engine games.

Services extend beyond hosting to joint capacity planning, integration support, test environments, fleet health monitoring and 24/7 launch assistance. The team also provides logs, crash reporting and tracing, plus OS and game patching, build promotion, capacity optimization and planning for seasonal demand and downloadable content. Multiplay positions itself as a long-term operational partner, keeping experienced engineers involved as games grow and their player needs change.
