Munchkin Land Preschool is a family-owned early childhood education provider in Rhode Island, founded by mother-daughter owners Lisa and Joelle. Drawing on more than 50 years of combined childcare experience, the team serves families at two locations in Coventry and West Greenwich. Its Whole Child Approach combines nurturing care with developmentally appropriate learning, while recognizing each child’s individual strengths, background, interests, and needs.
The preschool enrolls children from six weeks to five years, with programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and Pre-K students. Infant care includes songs, sensory exploration, and support for the transition from home. Toddler activities encourage language, motor skills, independence, and social-emotional development. Preschoolers learn through hands-on lessons, art, sensory play, and group activities. The Pre-K program uses Creative Curriculum and Get Set for School to build early math, literacy, and handwriting readiness.
Munchkin Land also offers enrichment activities, family communication through the Brightwheel app, and opportunities to tour classrooms and meet teachers.
