Munchkin Meadows Preschool & Daycare is a small, family-focused early childhood centre in Kyalami, Johannesburg, caring for babies, toddlers and young children from three months to five years. Located at 381 Crocus Road, the school is open Monday to Friday from 6:45 am to 5:30 pm and offers morning, extended-day and full-day care, with flexible four- and five-day options.

The school’s approach centres on recognising each child’s individuality, encouraging curiosity through play and exploration, and creating a safe sense of belonging. Small classes, teacher-led activities and close partnerships with families support children’s early learning and development. Daily life includes garden walks, show-and-tell, baking days, puppet shows, farm visits, celebrations and extra-mural activities. Swimming lessons are offered at no extra charge from age two, and the school also arranges visual and hearing screenings.

Munchkin Meadows serves freshly prepared, home-cooked meals and snacks made on-site with seasonal ingredients, with vegetarian options and dietary needs discussed during enrolment. Holiday care is available between school terms.
