About Mundikat
Mundikat is the largest cat association in the Netherlands, founded in 1976 and recognized as a member of the Fédération Internationale Féline (FIFe). With a strong community focus, Mundikat serves as a hub for cat enthusiasts, providing a platform for breeding and showcasing pedigree cats. The association maintains a comprehensive studbook, documenting the lineage of purebred cats, which helps breeders uphold the integrity and standards of cat breeding.
Each year, Mundikat organizes around twelve cat shows across the country, where participants can have their cats evaluated by international FIFe judges. Members also receive a full-color club magazine six times a year, filled with engaging articles, stories, and captivating photos. For those looking to adopt, Mundikat facilitates the rehoming of kittens and adult cats, ensuring they meet the association's breeding standards. Mundikat’s dedication to cat welfare and responsible breeding makes it an invaluable resource for cat lovers in the Netherlands.
