Mundo Feliz is a nationwide immigrants’ association in Portugal, founded in 2011 by Cecília Minascurta and a group of Romanian immigrants who drew on their own experiences of integration to help others. Headquartered in Algés, the association supports people of all nationalities with information, guidance and practical advice throughout the integration process. Its team includes eight specialist staff and more than 30 qualified volunteers, and it reports having supported people from 68 nationalities.

Services cover residence permits and renewals, AIMA appointments, family reunification, permanent residence and nationality applications. Mundo Feliz also assists with Social Security matters, including NISS applications and account access, and provides employment support through job fairs and links to companies. Other areas include entrepreneurship referrals, housing guidance, health screenings, and Portuguese and English classes offered in partnership. Through Mundo Feliz Solidário, the association distributes food hampers with the Food Bank and coordinates clothing donations with EntrAjuda. It also helps clients arrange travel through partners.
