MUNGU Academy is an organization that connects promising young athletes with opportunities to pursue their dreams through soccer, education, and faith. Focused on supporting gifted youth in Uganda, the academy aims to help players develop the skills and education needed to pursue professional soccer opportunities around the world. It also seeks to empower them to contribute to their communities and share God’s love.
MUNGU Academy invites individuals and businesses to support its work through athlete sponsorships, jersey sponsorships, and corporate partnerships. These opportunities help provide young athletes with resources and broader prospects. The organization also sells the Acholi Collection, a range of handmade African jewelry and handbags created by women in Uganda.
Proceeds support the academy and the artisans who make the products. Founded by Nathanael Linquist, who spent 14 years growing up in East Africa, MUNGU Academy aims to give back to the communities that shaped him.
