Muni Golf is golf simulator software designed to let players experience courses from around the world at home. Users can search by course name, location, architect, or nearby area, then play courses generated from real maps and terrain as they load, without downloading each course in advance. The software uses lidar and national elevation data, and lets users submit corrections to course details and layouts for review.

Live course weather, including wind, temperature, and conditions, affects shot physics alongside factors such as rain and altitude. The experience includes course-specific ambience, varied club and surface sounds, optional live commentary, shot replays, and green and hazard yardages. Players can choose full rounds, par-3 formats, on-course practice, generated practice holes, driving-range sessions, challenges, and multiplayer.

Muni Golf supports Windows, Mac, and Linux, with an iPhone and iPad beta. Its companion app connects compatible launch monitors from brands including Uneekor, Rapsodo, Garmin, SkyTrak, and FlightScope, as well as devices using the Open Connect API.
