About Munkácsy
Munkácsy Egyesület Luxemburg is a newly formed Hungarian association in Luxembourg. Our main goal is to preserve and promote Hungarian language and culture in Luxembourg and its surrounding areas. The association is named after the renowned Hungarian artist, Mihály Munkácsy, whose works are considered a significant part of universal human culture.
We organize various events and programs to bring together the Hungarian community and foster a sense of unity and belonging. Our activities include family sports days, festive celebrations like Christmas and traditions, cultural events, and even international programs such as Colorissimo. We also offer support and assistance to Hungarians living in Luxembourg.
