About Munster Little League
Munster Little League is a volunteer youth baseball organization serving boys and girls ages 4–12 in Munster, Indiana. Founded in 1952 and chartered by Little League International in 1972, it is part of Lake County’s District #1. Children who live in or attend school in the Town of Munster are eligible to participate, with games and activities based at Community Park, 8601 Calumet Avenue.
The league offers five baseball divisions for different ages and stages: instructional T-Ball for ages 4–6, coach-pitch Prep for ages 5–7, C-League for ages 6–8, kid-pitch Minors for ages 8–10, and Majors for ages 10–12. It also runs the Challengers program for athletes with disabilities, available from age five and established in 1989. Munster Little League encourages community involvement through volunteer opportunities and shares season news and game-day updates on social media.
Families can email the league for information about future registration; no programs are currently open for registration
