The Association des Usagers de l’Aérodrome de Muret-Lherm (AUAML) promotes the Muret-Lherm aerodrome, represents its users, and helps coordinate shared resources and activities. Open to public air traffic since 1953, the aerodrome serves leisure and professional aviation, with paved and grass runways for aircraft, ultralight aircraft, and helicopters. It is open day and night for most aircraft, while ultralight operations are limited to daytime. Visiting pilots can arrange aircraft parking, with occasional hangar space available by advance request.
The aerodrome hosts several pilot-training organizations, including the Aéro-Club Clément Ader, the Aéro-Club Jean Mermoz, the Aéro-Club Jean-Marie Bonnafé, and the National School of Civil Aviation’s training center. Aircraft maintenance services are also available through Midi-Pyrénées Aviation, user-operated facilities, and the FlightDesign France workshop. Visitors can dine at the on-site Restaurant l’Arc-en-Ciel. The association welcomes people interested in discovering flight, learning to pilot, or exploring the Occitanie region by air.
