About Abdullah DEMİRCİOĞLU
Abdullah Demircioğlu is a distinguished figure in Islamic Sufism, particularly associated with the Kadiri order. Born in 1949 in the Maçka district of Trabzon, he has dedicated his life to the teachings of Islam and promoting spiritual growth through various initiatives. After graduating from the Kayseri Higher Islamic Institute, he served as a preacher and later as a mufti in several Turkish towns.
Demircioğlu also established the Islam Service Foundation in Belgium, where he taught Islamic education in primary and secondary schools for 17 years. His contributions extend to writing and poetry, with focuses on Islamic philosophy and Sufi literature. He fosters communal spiritual practices, including daily dhikr (remembrance of God) and religious discussions that delve into Islamic ethics, the importance of prayer, and personal development.
