Museo Alfa Romeo, known as “La Macchina del Tempo,” is the historic museum dedicated to the story and heritage of the Alfa Romeo brand. Located in Arese, Italy, it presents more than a century of automotive history through cars, engines, mechanical components, models, photographs, documents and other archival materials. Its exhibits explore the brand’s origins, design, racing achievements and development across different eras, combining vehicles with videos, images and interactive displays.
Visitors can discover dedicated areas on beauty, speed, the Carabinieri collection and Alfa Romeo’s historical documentation, as well as experience a 4D cinema featuring film and virtual-reality effects. The museum also offers guided and personalised tours, family activities and a programme of events, including conventions, showcases and meetings. Additional visitor facilities include the Alfa Romeo Café, a museum shop with products inspired by the brand, and an internal track for vintage-car parades and other activities.
