Museu da Lava Jato

Museu da Lava Jato is a digital museum and documentation initiative created by a group of jurists, journalists, and historians. It aims to preserve and present popular memories of Operation Lava Jato, examining its history, methods, controversies, and impact in Brazil. The project also documents the Vigília Lula Livre, a 580-day vigil, and explores the concept of lawfare and its application.

Visitors can explore digital collections of journalistic materials, legal documents, academic works, and records related to the vigil, including photographs, testimonies, texts, and maps. The museum’s timelines trace the operation’s phases, the Vaza Jato reporting, effects on Petrobras, and the history of the vigil. Its editorial content discusses topics such as plea agreements, cooperation among authorities, and media strategy, alongside profiles and investigative dossiers.

The museum also offers educational resources, including a pedagogical proposal, courses, educational mediation, and materials, as well as audiovisual projects and a magazine.
