About Museum Helmond
Welcome to Museum Helmond, where you can explore the fascinating history of the almost 700-year-old Kasteel Helmond, the largest remaining square water castle in the Netherlands. Immerse yourself in art and photography at Kunsthal Helmond. Our museum is the perfect day out for groups of schoolchildren, art and photography enthusiasts, castle lovers, families, and anyone else looking for an enriching experience.
We have developed the Buitengewoon Museum Helmond program for visitors who are learning the Dutch language, use a wheelchair, have visual or hearing impairments, or have dementia or acquired brain injury. Everyone is welcome here! We are open from Tuesday to Sunday (including Easter and Pentecost) from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Please note that we are closed on January 1st, during carnival (Saturday to Monday), and on Christmas Day.
