Museum of Croydon

The Museum of Croydon is a local museum dedicated to sharing the stories of Croydon’s people, past and present. Based at the Croydon Clocktower on Katharine Street, it invites visitors to explore the borough’s history through free visits, exhibitions, events, archives and collections. Events include Dementia, Art & Joy, Crafting Croydon, an art book club and introductions to bobbin lacemaking with the Croydon Lacemakers. The museum also explores local heritage through talks on subjects such as historic pubs. Alongside its exhibitions and events, the Museum of Croydon supports learning and engagement for young people and offers activities related to dementia, art and wellbeing.
