About Mush Maine
Poland Spring Seppala Sleddogs Kennel, led by Jonathan Nathaniel Hayes, is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the Seppala Siberian Sleddog, a rare breed tracing its lineage back to the historic working dogs of Leonhard Seppala. Over three decades, the kennel has focused on breeding, training, and maintaining the health of these dogs, participating in significant expeditions like the Centennial Seppala Expedition across Alaska, demonstrating the breed's resilience and capability in challenging conditions. Committed to responsible breeding practices, Poland Spring Kennels offers Seppala puppies to approved homes, with placements starting at $2,500 to ensure the sustainability of their preservation efforts.
The kennel’s mission combines passion with practicality, addressing the costs of care, breeding, and training to secure a future for this unique breed. With a focus on quality and a dedication to promoting the working tradition of Seppala Siberian Sleddogs, Poland Spring aims to see the breed thrive for generations to come
