Music Player

Music Player Network (MPN) is an online community created by musicians, for musicians, bringing people together around a shared passion for music. Its forums provide a place for members to talk about, read and write about music, and connect with others who enjoy listening, performing and recording. The community embraces music in many forms, from playing live and attending performances to recording in studios, and is committed to keeping music alive through shared participation and conversation.

Established in September 2000, MPN has grown over the years as longtime members, new friends and partners have joined. The network and its forums are now owned and operated by the people who created and sustained the community for more than twenty-five years. Following a move to a new platform and a redesign, MPN aims to preserve the familiar community experience while providing an updated home for its members. Visitors can explore the forums, learn about the network and contact the team through the site.
