Welcome to the Music Therapy Association of Minnesota! We are a community of music therapists dedicated to promoting the power of music for healing and wellness. Our association provides resources, support, and opportunities for music therapists, students, and interns. If you're looking for a music therapist in your area, check out our Community Music Therapy Provider List.
This list features certified music therapists who are available for limited time observation opportunities. It's a great way for students and interns to gain practical experience by observing professionals in action. We also offer diverse membership benefits, including access to job postings, peer groups, and events.
Our association is committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the field of music therapy. While playlists can be a great way to uplift your mood, it's important to note that they are not a substitute for music therapy. However, we provide guidance on using music as a therapeutic tool in your own life.
If you're interested in exploring music therapy further, feel free to connect with a music therapist near you. Join us on Facebook and Twitter @MusicTherapyMN to stay updated on our latest news and events. For any questions or inquiries, please reach out to us at musictherapymn@gmail.
