About Musikene
Musikene, a renowned higher musical education institution, relocated to its state-of-the-art campus in September 2016. Designed by the GAZ architectural studio, the campus is situated in the lively plaza de Europa in San Sebastián. Recognized by the Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos Vasco Navarro, the campus boasts a contemporary design optimizing natural light, spread across 13,096 square meters.
It features a versatile auditorium accommodating 420 attendees, along with 68 teaching rooms, a recording studio, and specialized music laboratories. Students have access to 31 practice booths and various instrument storage facilities. The move marked Musikene's transition from the historic Palacio Miramar to a modern facility dedicated to musical excellence.
