Musikschulstiftung Berlin

ZUKUNFT MIT MUSIK – Musikschulstiftung Berlin is a nonprofit foundation working to make musical education accessible to children in Berlin, regardless of their families’ financial circumstances. It provides individual support to children whose families struggle to cover music lesson fees, rehearsal costs, or instrument rental charges. At public music schools, lesson fees of around €60 per month can generally be reduced only to approximately €30–35, and assistance may be particularly limited for some low-income families, including those with several children taking instrumental lessons.

The foundation aims to reduce these financial barriers so that no child has to give up learning an instrument because of cost. It invites people to contribute as donors, foundation supporters, advisers, volunteers, or ambassadors, and explains how to make donations and endowments. Contributions are tax-deductible.
