About MusikSpitex
Music-Spitex, a project by the cassiopeia association, offers a unique service that brings the joy of live music to individuals who may no longer be able to attend cultural events due to age or illness. Founded by Mirjam Toews in 2020, the concept of Music-Spitex has been met with enthusiasm in various Swiss communities. The initiative provides personalized concerts in the comfort of one's home, aiming to combat loneliness and provide emotional support through the power of music.
Partnering with the Swiss Association for Seniors' Issues, Music-Spitex strives to enhance the quality of life for seniors and individuals in need of care. Through this innovative approach, professional musicians collaborate with home care services to deliver a rich musical experience right to the client's living room, fostering a sense of connection and cultural engagement.
