Musizi University is an upcoming private liberal arts and sciences university in Uganda. Our mission is to foster independent thinkers driven by empathy, while our vision is for Africa to serve as an inspiration for the world. What sets us apart is our commitment to a liberal arts and sciences education, which enables our students to think and act flexibly across various fields of study.

During their first year, students will take core classes in science, social sciences, and the arts, setting a strong interdisciplinary foundation for their major courses. We also focus on the Obuntu Bulamu lifestyle, where our students cultivate both their minds and hearts, caring deeply for others and striving to make a difference for the benefit of all. At Musizi, we emphasize project-based learning, allowing students to acquire the necessary theories and skills through hands-on experiences and real-world projects.

We also conduct research relevant to the UN's sustainable development goals, exploring ways to combat climate change and create a more sustainable world. As a name derived from the Musizi tree, we embrace the virtue of supporting and protecting life, just like how the tree provides sunlight and shade for smaller plants to blossom. Our Ntinda facilities offer a place to call home, with classrooms, libraries, laboratories, and a sports field.
