MUSTANG MAKEOVER is a European equestrian event and Mustang-placement initiative that raises awareness of the challenges facing American Mustangs and helps horses find new homes. Since 2017, the organization has worked to give Mustangs rescued from government holding facilities a second chance, with more than 600 horses placed to date. Its events combine entertainment, education and horse welfare, offering audiences a chance to discover the horses and learn about fair, horse-centered training.

The 10th-anniversary event takes place from October 16 to 18, 2026, at Allianz Park on the CHIO Aachen grounds. Visitors can experience the Trainer Challenge, Liberty Cup, live demonstrations, public training sessions, expert talks and an open Mustang auction. The program also includes a special anniversary show, an Academy and Experts Forum, and the Mustang Village and Mall, featuring exhibitors. Training topics range from horsemanship and liberty work to classical riding, psychology and biomechanics. Through ticket sales, the event invites visitors to support its mission while enjoying three days of equestrian shows, practical learning and Mustang-focused activities.
