The Magyar Urbanisztikai Társaság (Hungarian Urban Planning Association) is a professional and social organization for those involved in urban planning and those with a keen interest in urbanism. Since its foundation in 1966, the association has brought together and represented professionals in urban planning, urban development, and territorial planning. As part of its societal mission, the association aims to draw attention to the interests of society in relation to territorial and urban development policies and, where there is a willingness to receive it, to assist in the decision-making process.

The association organizes various events, including the annual National Urban Planning Conference, renowned as the country's most prestigious urban planning event. It also acknowledges and awards excellence in the field through the Hild János Prize, the Diplomadíj, and the Köztérmegújítási Nívódíj. Members of the association have the opportunity to access exclusive content in the Knowledge Base, which showcases the research and studies of actively engaged urbanists.
