Mutual Aid Disaster Relief is a grassroots disaster relief network that is committed to solidarity, mutual aid, and autonomous direct action. With a decentralized structure, they comprise a national network of eco-activists, social justice activists, herbalists, street medics, and more. Their mission is to support disaster survivors through mutual aid and solidarity, with a strong focus on climate justice.

Mutual Aid Disaster Relief builds their network through education and action, valuing collective decision-making and autonomy. They draw inspiration from the Black Panther survival programs, aiming to address immediate needs while organizing for fundamental shifts in society. The organization operates through a spokescouncil, a steering committee, and working groups, which allow for collaborative decision-making and coordination.

By standing in solidarity with impacted communities, Mutual Aid Disaster Relief seeks to challenge systems of oppression and create a more just and sustainable world
