Michael Vincent Academy (MVA) is a beauty and production education brand based in North Hollywood, California, with roots in Hollywood’s working studio environment. The Michael Vincent brand was established in 2004, and the academy opened in 2013 under founders Michael Vincent and Tal B. Vincent. MVA combines training with access to a functioning production studio, offering students opportunities to practise skills, develop portfolios and, for eligible participants, gain experience on professional sets.

Its courses cover makeup, hairstyling, special effects, airbrush, digital makeup, barber artistry and microblading. Students can choose self-paced online instruction, which may include recorded lessons, teacher support and course kits, or in-person Elite courses focused on hands-on practice and portfolio building. A separate, invitation-only Affiliate program provides five weeks of training and potential work on productions and events; participation is subject to qualification and is not guaranteed.

Students who complete course requirements can earn an MVA certificate. The academy also highlights student support, instruction from experienced educators and, where applicable, a vegan and cruelty-free professional brush set.
