Mieux Vivre Habitation (MVH) is a worker-owned cooperative founded in 2009 in southwestern France, with roots in ecological construction dating back to 1998. The company designs and carries out environmentally conscious new-build and renovation projects for individuals, businesses and local authorities. It also offers project management support and short, fundable training courses in sustainable building techniques.

MVH combines traditional craftsmanship with durable, lower-impact materials to create comfortable, energy-efficient homes. Its services include timber and straw construction, bio-based insulation using materials such as hemp and wood fibre, natural lime, earth and hemp finishes, and timber cladding. The cooperative also undertakes carpentry, interior fittings, traditional and contemporary roof structures, roofing and zinc work, masonry repairs, and interior finishing, including partitions, ecological paints, panelling and flooring. For existing buildings, MVH provides comprehensive ecological renovation focused on insulation, material choices, indoor air quality and lasting performance.

The cooperative emphasizes close collaboration, adapting its advice and work to each project and to local resources.
