VYB is a real-time, location-based dating app designed to help people connect with others who are physically present in the same venue. Live in Austin, Texas, and rolling out city by city across the United States, the service offers an alternative to swiping through profiles from elsewhere. Users check in with a live selfie, then see verified people in the same room and can send a request to match and start chatting while they are still there.

VYB’s features include venue-based discovery, a live map with adjustable distance, shared-interest details, instant messaging with read receipts, and incognito browsing. In incognito mode, users can explore without appearing to others until they choose to send an invite. The app also emphasizes safety and privacy through device verification, live selfie checks, controls over visibility, and tools to block or report users. Access requests and city notifications are available through its website, with the app offered on the App Store and Google Play.
