Myanm/art is a Yangon-based contemporary art space that is dedicated to nurturing and supporting emerging contemporary artists, art historians, and researchers from Myanmar, as well as those interested in the Myanmar contemporary scene. We are committed to providing a platform for these creative individuals to showcase their talent and develop their skills. At Myanm/art, we offer various services and opportunities for the art community.

We organize training programs and workshops to enhance artistic abilities, while also hosting regular exhibitions that cover a wide range of artistic styles. Our space is not limited to visual arts; we also organize underground music concerts, poetry readings, and artist discussions to promote a diverse cultural scene. Our mission is to support independent contemporary art projects and provide resources for the expanding interest in Myanmar's subcultures.

We have become a home base for artists engaging in performance art, poetry reading, experimental music, installation, photography, filmmaking, and multimedia production. As the only dedicated contemporary art space in Myanmar, we take pride in being a hub for international exhibitions, contemporary art journals, scholarly research articles, and photography and film-related library materials. With a reference library of over 300 art books and a lending library for equipment, we aim to foster a vibrant and inclusive artistic community.

Moving forward, we are placing a strong emphasis on our educational program. Our exhibitions and public events are increasingly curated to support core educational initiatives. Myanm/art focuses on three primary areas: Curatorial Exhibitions, Research & Education, and Project Support.
