My Chance

My Chance is a registered charity founded on the belief that everyone has an opportunity to make a difference. Run by family members and friends who volunteer their time and experience, the organisation works to support people in need across Yorkshire and beyond. Its focus includes individuals of all ages affected by poor physical or mental health, particularly those living with rare illnesses considered incurable, while its support is not limited to any particular condition.

My Chance raises funds and awareness through community events, campaigns, acts of kindness and fundraising missions. It directs money and practical help to individuals, families and smaller charities, including funding specific needs such as equipment. Its initiatives also include informative awareness workshops, volunteer opportunities and emotional and community support for affected people and their families. The charity invites supporters to join its efforts and help build a ripple effect of care and hope. Since 2009, it reports raising £40,000 and holding 100 fundraising events.
