MyCode is a coding academy for children, helping young learners build skills for a digital world through creative, engaging programming courses. Its programs are designed for different ages and learning needs, combining guided instruction with opportunities to explore, collaborate, and have fun. Courses include Coding Youngsters, which introduces coding concepts and basic language structures; block-based game making; coding with iPad to create interactive games and animated stories; web development foundations; and programming foundations using a higher-level programming language.
Students apply what they learn by creating projects, which are showcased in the Explorer’s Gallery. Families who are unsure where to begin can take a course-selection quiz, and the website also features frequently asked questions, a blog, and student and parent feedback. MyCode presents coding as a way for children to develop curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking while making games and other digital projects.
