My Czech Roots

MyCzechRoots is dedicated to enriching the genealogical research experience for individuals exploring their Czech ancestry. This project, titled "A Genealogist's Guide to the Archives of the Czech Republic," serves as a comprehensive resource for accessing a diverse range of historical records originating from Bohemia, Moravia, and Silesia. Users can discover vital records, census data, military documents, church records, and more, all collected from state-run archives across the Czech lands. The platform offers various search tools and tips to assist users in navigating these valuable resources efficiently, whether online or in person.

Additionally, MyCzechRoots provides a suite of services tailored to enhance the genealogical journey, including ancestral tours, translation of archival records, and guidance on acquiring dual Czech citizenship. Future plans include expanding the website to include Czech and German language versions, ensuring wider accessibility. With a commitment to supporting historical research, MyCzechRoots continually updates its content to reflect new information and resources for genealogists.
