Myeong-ye 명예 Tang Soo Do

Myeong-ye Martial Arts is a nonprofit school in Spijkenisse, Netherlands, that has taught Tang Soo Do since March 27, 2014. Tang Soo Do is a Korean martial art described by the school as a form of karate, combining physical training with the development of mental resilience. Classes are intended for people of different ages and abilities, with instructors guiding students at their individual levels in a safe, enjoyable environment.

Training helps students build confidence, discipline and respect while improving strength, coordination, mobility and fitness. The school also emphasizes learning to handle challenges and stress. Alongside regular lessons, Myeong-ye provides information about training schedules, membership, fees, examinations and Tang Soo Do terminology, as well as media and resources about the art. The school organizes opportunities for students to stay active beyond regular classes, including outdoor sports and social activities.

Prospective students can try four lessons for free before deciding whether to join. Classes take place in the gymnasium at J. Wagenaarstraat 4, in Spijkenisse’s Vogelenzang district.
