About MYFEgypt
MYFEgypt, also known as the Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation (MYF), is an Egyptian non-governmental organization established in 2008 by Dr. Magdi Yacoub. The foundation aims to provide high-quality, sustainable, and accessible medical care for the underprivileged, completely free of charge.
MYFEgypt offers a range of services and treatments through its Aswan Heart Centre (AHC) and Aswan Heart Research Centre. Supported entirely by donations, the AHC treats up to 4,000 inpatients and 40,000 outpatients annually. Additionally, MYFEgypt plans to build another medical center in Cairo to address the growing need for cardiac care in the country.
A significant milestone is the upcoming opening of the Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Centre in 2024, which has been a long-time dream of Dr. Magdi Yacoub's. With Professor Sir Magdi Yacoub, a renowned cardiologist and pioneer in the field, at the forefront, MYFEgypt's dedication to providing life-saving care has made a lasting impact on the lives of thousands of patients worldwide
