My Farewell Wishes

My Farewell Wishes is an Ireland-based service helping individuals and families plan and record funeral preferences in advance. Based in Kingscourt, County Cavan, it works with a network of local partner funeral directors, with more than 100 partners nationwide. The service offers an online planner and the option to arrange a conversation with a funeral director or request an information pack.

For a €65 registration fee, customers can create a Record of Wishes covering choices such as burial or cremation, religious or non-religious services, and wake preferences. Registrants receive a Certificate of Wishes and unique registration number, and their wishes are stored on a private National Register of Wishes. A copy can be provided to a representative and selected funeral director. People may also register wishes on behalf of someone else, and can contact the service or their funeral director to discuss changes.

My Farewell Wishes also provides information about funeral costs and ways to contribute towards expenses in advance.
