About Malaysia Forest Fund
The Malaysia Forest Fund (MFF) is a dynamic financial team dedicated to forest conservation through the implementation of the National REDD Plus Strategy. Born out of the initiative of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Environment, and Climate Change, MFF was established in June 2021 to execute the REDD Plus Finance Framework (RFF). Governed by a Board of Trustees comprising renowned policy makers, industry players, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), MFF develops and implements innovative finance strategies, operationalizes forest initiatives, and facilitates communication between the public, stakeholders, and industry players.
Their dedicated team, led by Chief Executive Officer Datuk Hj Jeffri Bin Abd Rasid, works tirelessly to verify and report on the forest initiatives developed.
