MyGuideLight is a developing service designed to help families of students with disabilities plan for adulthood with greater clarity, care, and support. Its approach centers each young person’s strengths, preferences, voice, and hopes, while helping families navigate the many decisions involved in transition. The aim is to turn complex, uncertain questions into shared conversations and manageable next steps.

At the heart of the planned offering is the Family Transition Blueprint, a living record intended to bring together a person’s qualities and goals with family intentions, important decisions, support, and future actions. It is designed to grow as circumstances change, giving families a place to keep what matters in view and revisit what may come next. MyGuideLight also aims to help families, schools, and trusted providers work from a shared understanding when the family chooses.

The service is currently in development, with families at the center of its design. Interested family members, school professionals, trusted providers, and others can express interest in joining the waitlist or learning more.
