MyHabeats is a smartphone application designed specifically for post-obesity surgery patients. It serves as a behavioral vaccine to maximize adherence to post-surgery guidelines, helping patients build healthy eating habits and make lifestyle changes. As an evidence-based alternative to standard-of-care approaches, MyHabeats addresses the challenge of patient adherence to these guidelines for successful weight loss maintenance.

The app is a digital tool that provides an easy-to-use and engaging experience, translating post-operative guidelines into actionable steps for patients. By facilitating weight loss maintenance and improving the quality of life for patients, MyHabeats aims to be a supportive tool for post-surgery success. To ensure the effectiveness of the app, MyHabeats runs the first randomized controlled trial for the use of a self-management app by post-obesity surgery patients.

This clinical trial is conducted in collaboration with the Queen's University of Belfast and the Hippocration Obesity Surgery Clinic of the University of Athens. MyHabeats has also been actively involved in various major events and start-up incubation programs, including the Athens Innovation Festival, the WEB Summit, and the THEA project
