It all started when Drew Sweeney, the founder, wrapped a paperclip around his lighter as a temporary solution but realized the need for a seamless, functional, attractive, and durable tool. He invented the Kasher, patented it, sourced it, and started a business with it. Despite facing numerous hurdles, including funding, Drew stayed persistent and eventually secured a small business loan.
